Protease

BPNuclease, the same nuclease as Benzonase from EMD/Novagen. BPNuclease is a nonspecific endonuclease that digests both DNA and RNA. It can also replace crude DNaseI in many applications. The unit cost is actually lower than crude DNase I.

HRV 3C Protease, 1mg in 500 ul volume in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH8.0, 150 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA, 1mM TCEP and 50% Glycerol Recombinant 3C protease is a cysteine protease cleaves between Gln and Gly in PreScission site. This protease has His and GST tag and works at 1:100 protease to target ratio in 4C.

TEV Protease contains an enhanced form of a catalytic fragment of the N1a protein of Tobacco etch virus (TEV), a cysteine protease that recognizes the cleavage site of Glu-Asn-Leu-Tyr-Phe-Gln-Gly and cleaves between Gln and Gly. TEV Protease is a restriction grade protease that has a robust activity at 4oC with high specificity and great stability. It does not require any special buffer for its activity and can be used in a buffer most suitable for the target protein. TEV Protease is a 52 kDa protein with both GST and His tags so it can be easily removed by either Ni-chelating or Glutathione (GST) resin along with the cleaved tag.
